NCLP continues to offer outstanding support for all tutor/assessors of both YMTB and Parents with Prospects courses.
All assessment paperwork has been designed with assistance from Tutors, and External and Internal Verifiers, for ease of use.
The standards/learning outcomes are clear and easy to understand, assessment plans, evidence records and feedback sheets are user friendly and completion is straightforward.
All YMTB tutor/assessors attend a training day to guide them through the setting up of their new programme. This introduction gives tutors the opportunity to share best practice, meet other tutors and understand the background, ethos and aims of the YMTB programme. Tutors are trained in assessment practice and use of the on-line support materials.
Our Internal Verifier visits each YMTB centre at least once every 12 months and will often schedule additional support visits.
