Parents with Prospects is the name of the NCLP Parenting training programme provided nationally to centres working to support parents and their children from birth to 3 years old.
The programme can lead to a Foundation Learning qualification in Parenting, designed specifically for young dads, mums, partners, and step parents. Our resources encourage discussion, build confidence in relationships and help parents to develop communication and family skills.
The material is relevant to the lifestyles of today and reflects the challenges parents face in today's world.
Experience from our national programmes shows that we need to respond to comments, particularly from the parents involved and the tutors delivering the material. This involvement keeps our resources up todate and in line with today's young parents and their lifestyles.
The Parents with Prospects training programme is accredited either as a Qualifictions and Credit Framework (QCF) Qualification or as non-accredited training programme, requiring a contract and linked to NCLP quality standards. Contact us for more information.
